To Freedom's Cause: Kate Willoughby's play thay explores both the lead up to the 1913 Epsom Derby where Emily made her daring Votes for Women protest as well as the unforeseen consequences her action had on the King’s jockey, Herbert Jones. The Wilding Festival: Curated by London-based arts collective Soundcastle in partnership with the Museum of London and St George’s Bloomsbury the festival will present dynamic and discursive new music, theatre, dance, arts performance, collaboration, discussion and intergenerational community engagement in this spectacular and immersive setting. Emily Inspires: A programme of events during the 2013 centennial year of Emily Wilding Davison's death to mark the anniversary.
